We're seeking a Senior iOS Engineer (w/m/d) to join our Engineering team in Berlin.

This is a hybrid position, requiring 2 days in the office.

You won’t just be writing code, you’ll help shape our iOS architecture, push the boundaries of what’s possible on mobile, and make sure our users enjoy a smooth, personalised, and impactful health journey. Working closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams, you’ll see your work making a real difference in people’s lives, every single day.
We're increasingly integrating AI capabilities into our products and believe in giving our engineers the same advantage by providing LLM access as a daily tool while maintaining high engineering standards through manual review.

• Designing, developing, and releasing high-quality iOS features that users love.
• Taking end-to-end ownership of your projects — from initial idea to App Store launch.
• Building elegant, responsive UIs with SwiftUI.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features.
• Ensuring the app runs smoothly, performs reliably, and scales effortlessly.
• Integrating APIs, SDKs, and third-party tools to enhance functionality. (i.e. Thryve SDK, HealthKit, PhraseSDK)
  
• Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
• You'll have access to LLM-powered tools to accelerate your workflow while applying your own judgement and thorough code review to ensure quality and maintainability
• Drive architecture decisions, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Mentor and support fellow iOS engineers through code reviews, knowledge-sharing, and technical guidance.

What makes you a great fit

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.

• Deep expertise in Swift and modern iOS development principles.

• Strong experience with SwiftUI, Combine or Async/Wait, and Apple’s ecosystem of frameworks.

• Solid understanding of architectural patterns (MVVM, MVVM-C, Clean Architecture).

• Proficiency in working with REST APIs, JSON, and mobile app security best practices.

• You care about user experience, pixel-perfect design, and solving problems creatively.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, agile development workflows, app distribution, and crash/analytics tools (e.g., Firebase Distribution, Test Flight, Crashlytics).

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with modular architectures or multi-app ecosystems.

• 2nd step - a call with the Hiring Manager (45-60 minutes)
• 3rd step - a call with iOS engineers to assess technical skills (ideally in our office in Berlin) (60-90 minutes)
